My birthday dinner there was absolutely sublime, and I'm still dreaming about the food and the overall vibe. While my initial post highlighted the incredible milk bread, wagyu steak, and grilled baby corn, the menu at Gekko offers so much more. From what I recall and saw on other tables, it's a modern Japanese steakhouse and lounge with an amazing fusion twist. We started with some fantastic appetizers – beyond the perfectly grilled baby corn, I saw others enjoying delicious crispy onion rings, which looked perfectly golden and were a surprisingly sophisticated bite. And those seafood tacos mentioned in the OCR? They were a definite standout! Light, fresh, and packed with incredible flavor, they're a must-try if you're looking for something beyond the traditional steakhouse fare. For mains, if you're feeling indulgent, the wagyu steak is an absolute must-try; it practically melts in your mouth and is cooked to perfection. But don't overlook their other offerings. I've heard amazing things about their sushi and other grilled specialties too, making it hard to choose! Their cocktail menu is also quite extensive, with unique concoctions that perfectly complement the meal. I remember seeing some stunning drinks being served that were almost works of art themselves, perfect for a celebratory night out. And for dessert? The presentation is truly next level. Our birthday dessert with the lit candle was so special, but all their desserts are meticulously crafted. It’s not just about the taste, but the entire artistic experience – they're definitely Instagram-worthy! Now, about the price point – yes, it's definitely on the higher end, as we mentioned earlier. Expect to spend a good penny, especially if you're indulging in wagyu and cocktails. However, I genuinely believe it's worth every single dollar for a special occasion. The quality of ingredients, the impeccable service, and the luxurious, vibrant ambiance create a dining experience that completely justifies the cost. It's not just a meal; it's an event. Speaking of events, you absolutely, unequivocally need to make reservations well in advance. Gekko is incredibly popular, partly due to the Bad Bunny connection, but mostly because the food and atmosphere are genuinely top-tier. I'd recommend booking at least a month out, especially for weekend evenings. Dress to impress; it's a chic Miami spot, so embrace the opportunity to get a little fancy. The restaurant is located in Brickell, a vibrant part of Miami, making it a great destination for a pre- or post-dinner stroll or drinks. So, if you’re curious about the Gekko menu in Miami, prepare for a culinary journey that blends exquisite Japanese flavors with a vibrant Miami flair. It’s more than just a celebrity-owned spot; it’s a high-quality dining destination that delivers on all fronts for a truly memorable night out!
