INSANE CLIENTS 😩Story time (it’s long but good)
Let’s talk about the worst client I’ve had & why I’m picky with who I let sit in my chair.
Let’s get it to besties:
So last week I had a client come over and she booked a manicure and pedicure deal. She had a hard time with my booking site for some reason & I’m not gone lie I felt like she was being lazy . On my booking site you can book multiple things that apply to what services you need and also ask for a current picture of your nails and the set you desire if you have any. Just remember that one part right there !
She comes in very nice ,energy great. I tell her she can sit down and we can get started , as she sits I noticed that her nails were broken and chipped and just a hot mess, but she didn’t book a soak off. At this point she notices that I’m kinda showing the expression in my face and says “ oh dear I’m sorry I forgot to let you know I had nails on still, can you take them off or soak them off” I look at her and I’m like ok let me start. That’s whole process took two hours almost and I was kind of annoyed.
I begin prep and asking her about what she wanted because again she did not book I did it for her. She says go ahead and freestyle , that made me feel a little better because I had something simple but cute in mind and I was already past the time frame. Since I was going to do a freestyle I of course wanted to shape her nails according to what her fingers and hands looked like.
I’m taking my tips out and getting ready to slay to her down and this is where the problem started for me…She asked me what other tips I had , now when you say freestyle that’s means I’m doing what I want right ? But not right she tells me she wants duck tips, not a problem but not what I had in mind as far as the design I was thinking about slaying on her.
Applied the duck tips and I’m starting the prep for her set. I start shaping them but not to much because when I lay the application down I want to get the shape more crisp and curved like they should be. Mid application on the second hand she looks at her nails looks at me and says “I don’t like the shape of these duck tips can you please do them square “? I had a mask on but my lips literally were balling up in fury, only because she asked me for a freestyle and now she’s telling me what to do.
So now I’m informing her that I’m not finished with shaping and she starts nodding her head like no I don’t want this. Starting reshaping as she wanted after I finished the application process and If you know then you know when you know duck tips are very flared up and bulky looking until filed down and shaped right.
I’m getting into ready to throw down and really get that square shape I think is good for her and she literally tells me one of the fingers looks shorter than the other, and she wants me to soak it off, in my mind I’m racking up these charges but I wanted her out my chair. I soak it off redo it and now it’s design time. HERE SHE GOES PULLING OUT A FREAKING INSPO PIC OF WHAT SHE WANTS 🤬.
Y’all I’m livid at this point and I said to her “ I thought you wanted me to freestyle” she goes oh you can just do this. I’m annoyed to the fullest and ready to just tell her to leave. The design up top is what she wanted. The shape is what she wanted. I absolutely hated the set and the process . I felt as if she took advantage of my services and I didn’t wanna take her as a client anymore, but I feel like this is one of my story time horror events that happened. I mean it’s not a scary story, but I called them. Insane clients
