5. Syrup Village: From the captain Kurro villain reveal, to getting the Going Merry, to finding out why Usopp lies the way that he does, this arc was just full of great moments that I really loved!

4. Arlong Park: This obviously deserves a spot on this list. Nami's backstory was heartbreaking and will stay with me forever. Arlong was a truly menacing villain, and I loved Luffy's emotional maturity here.

3. Drum Island: Another incredibly powerful arc. Dr. Hiriluk's speech is now engrained in my memory!!

2. Alabasta: A truly phenomenal arc. A beautifully written story with very high stakes and a very satisfying payoff and conclusion!
