Sauces from the Homestyle Braised Chicken and Fragrant Spicy Pork Trotters paired especially well with white rice.
•
Best Selling Dessert
- Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream

Very unique dessert. Sweet potato is steamed, mashed into a paste, and turned into ice cream. Natural sweetness from the sweet potato made it an ideal ending to the rich and savoury meal.

Amazing service by the team!
If you're craving nourishing and authentic Cantonese soups, The Soup Expert at Suntec City is an unmissable spot. Beyond the popular Wild Mushroom Bamboo Fungus Soup and Black Garlic Beef Bone Soup, their newly launched Old Hen Herbal Soup and Chuan Bei Snow Pear Pork Soup offer heartwarming, homestyle flavors that beautifully balance herbal ingredients for wellness and taste. I particularly enjoyed how each soup is double-boiled for four hours, a traditional technique that extracts maximum flavors and natural goodness. The soups come in signature teapots that retain heat remarkably well, so every sip stays comforting throughout the meal. Aside from soups, the restaurant features a variety of classic and innovative Cantonese dishes. Highlights include the Claypot Mushrooms with Dried Shrimp, which are flavorful without overwhelming earthiness, and the Homestyle Braised Chicken whose savory sauce pairs excellently with steamed rice. The Golden Garlic Pork Ribs and Fragrant Spicy Pork Trotters add a nice spicy and aromatic contrast. For dessert, I tried the Purple Sweet Potato Ice Cream—a delightful end with its natural sweetness and creamy texture, distinct from typical ice cream flavors. The ambiance is warm and inviting with spacious seating, private dining options, and bright interiors, making it ideal for gatherings of all kinds, from quiet dinners to lively family meals. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall dining experience. If you're in Suntec City and yearning for comforting, authentic Cantonese soups paired with delicious home-style dishes, The Soup Expert offers quality, flavor, and a cozy atmosphere that’s definitely worth a visit.
