No more pranking my baby
As a parent, I’ve learned firsthand how pranking kids can be both entertaining and a bit risky. There was a time when I tried a small prank similar to the one where a little liquid was poured just to capture my child’s reaction. At first, it felt harmless and funny, especially when the kid took the surprise like a champ, showing impressive resilience. However, after seeing that innocent reaction, I couldn’t help but feel a twinge of guilt—it's easy to forget that what’s funny to adults might be confusing or upsetting to children. It made me realize the importance of balancing fun with sensitivity, making sure the pranks don’t cross personal boundaries or cause any lasting discomfort. Family moments like these remind us why humor and playfulness are important, but they also highlight the need for empathy and care. When pranking kids, I now always consider their feelings first and keep the jokes light-hearted and brief to avoid any negative impact. Sharing these experiences can help other parents navigate similar situations and keep family fun safe and enjoyable for everyone.
