con el combete de Noticentro al Amanecer wapatv
What an incredible morning it was when I got to join the amazing team, or 'combete' as we say, of Noticentro al Amanecer on WAPA TV! Stepping into the bustling TV studio, I was immediately energized by the vibrant atmosphere. It’s always a thrill to be on live television, and this day was no exception. I put on my crisp white chef's coat, ready to share some culinary magic with everyone watching. The set looked fantastic, with our rustic wooden table as the centerpiece, perfectly arranged with my trusty cooking pans, vibrant watermelon slices, and zesty lemons, all waiting to become part of something delicious. The incredible team, with their characteristic red, blue, and grey jackets, were all smiles, making everyone feel right at home. Their energy is truly infectious! For my segment, I decided to showcase a dish that’s both fresh and easy, perfect for a morning show audience – a vibrant Tropical Fruit & Quinoa Bowl with a Lemon-Honey Drizzle. I wanted to create something that not only tasted amazing but also looked beautiful on screen. We talked about the benefits of starting your day with wholesome ingredients and how simple it is to incorporate superfoods like quinoa into your breakfast routine. The watermelon and lemons weren't just props; they were key ingredients, adding sweetness and a bright tang to the bowl. Behind the scenes, it’s a whirlwind of activity, but the professionalism of the Noticentro al Amanecer crew is just incredible. From the camera operators to the producers, everyone works seamlessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. I loved interacting with the hosts, sharing laughs and tips, and just enjoying the moment. It’s always a privilege to connect with viewers, and knowing that I was reaching so many homes across Puerto Rico with WAPA TV made it even more special. One of the best tips I shared was how to perfectly cook quinoa for a fluffy texture every time, and how to balance sweet and tart flavors using fresh fruits and a simple dressing. It’s all about fresh ingredients and a little love! I want to extend a huge thank you to the entire Noticentro al Amanecer team for having me. It was an unforgettable experience, and I truly hope to be back on set again soon to share more culinary adventures. Don’t forget to try making your own Tropical Fruit & Quinoa Bowl – it’s a perfect taste of sunshine, no matter the weather!
