Ingredients:
ā 2 bunches fresh collard greens, washed & chopped
ā 1 smoked turkey leg or 2 smoked turkey wings š
ā 6 cups chicken broth or water
ā 1 large onion, chopped š§
ā 4 cloves garlic, minced š§
ā 1 teaspoon CMX Complete Seasoning
ā 1 teaspoon CMX Garlic Sage Seasoning
ā 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
ā 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
ā 1 tablespoon sugar (balances flavors)
ā Salt & black pepper to taste
ā 1 tablespoon butter or a drizzle of olive oil
Instructions:
1ļøā£ In a large pot, add the smoked turkey and chicken broth (or water). Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes.
2ļøā£ Add the chopped onions, garlic, CMX Complete Seasoning, CMX Garlic Sage Seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
3ļøā£ Add the collard greens in batches, letting them wilt before adding more.
4ļøā£ Stir in apple cider vinegar, sugar, and butter (or olive oil). Simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until tender.
