🧂Seasons are your choice to fit your liking but I used:

- season salt

-garlic

-paprika

-knorr beef bouillon

- Kinders buttery garlic & herb

- Badia Jamaican style jerk seasoning

🥬Instructions 🥬

1. Chop all vegetables and Sausage and set to the side

2. Brown your meat set to the side in a bowl then the same with the sausage.

3. Sauté onions and bell Peppers add to the bowl as well

4. Cook down cabbage to your liking and add to the bowl and mix everything.

🗒️Side Note:

-You don’t have to cook it all separately you can cook the meats and then add all the vegetables to the pot and cook it down. I only do mine this way because I do not like my cabbage to get soggy.

- depending on how many people your feeding you can double the recipe.

🩷 I hope you like it!!🩷

... Read moreIf you’re looking for a nutritious and comforting meal, loaded cabbage is a fantastic choice that combines simplicity with bold flavors. This dish is versatile, as you can easily swap ground meats depending on your preference—be it hamburger beef, ground turkey, or chicken—for a lighter or richer profile. One tip that helped me master this recipe is to sauté the onions and bell peppers separately before mixing them with the browned meats. This approach preserves their texture and prevents the cabbage from becoming overly soggy, which can happen if everything is cooked together from the start. I also found that using a mix of seasonings like garlic, paprika, and Badia Jamaican-style jerk seasoning adds a depth of warm, slightly spicy notes that elevate the whole dish. For the cabbage itself, cooking it down to a desired tenderness takes just a few minutes if you keep the heat moderate and stir frequently. This way, the cabbage releases its natural sweetness and blends well with the savory meat and sausage. This meal scales well, so if you’re feeding a family or hosting friends, doubling the recipe works seamlessly. Plus, it makes great leftovers and reheats nicely. I like to serve loaded cabbage with a side of steamed rice or crusty bread for a filling dinner. This recipe also fits well under many healthy eating plans because it's rich in vegetables and lean protein yet satisfying and hearty. Overall, this loaded cabbage dish is a fantastic way to bring together affordable ingredients with a punch of flavor, making it a favorite for easy weeknight dinners or meal prep.
