DISNEY DAY —>>

Oh, what a day at Disney California Adventure! When I plan a Disney Day with my mini, I always make sure to carve out plenty of time for this park. It has such a different vibe from Disneyland Park next door, and honestly, it’s a blast, especially for little ones who might enjoy the Pixar and Cars Land themes. My son absolutely adores Cars Land. We spent ages just walking around, soaking in the Radiator Springs atmosphere, and of course, riding Radiator Springs Racers (Single Rider line is a lifesaver if you're alone with a kid who meets the height!). Pro tip: try to get a Lightning Lane for this one if you can, or go right at rope drop! Another favorite is Mater's Junkyard Jamboree – it's so silly and fun, perfect for getting those giggles out. Pixar Pier is another must-do. The atmosphere is just so vibrant! We love grabbing a snack and just people-watching. Sometimes, if we’re lucky, we catch some characters for a quick photo op. The Incredicoaster is a bit too intense for my mini right now, but we always enjoy the calmer rides like Toy Story Midway Mania! It's interactive and kids absolutely love scoring points. And for food? You have to try the corn dogs from the Corn Dog Castle – they're legendary! We also love grabbing a quick bite at Flo's V8 Cafe in Cars Land for that classic diner feel. Hydration is key, especially on a warm Disney Day, so I always pack a reusable water bottle. They have plenty of water refill stations, which saves a lot of money and keeps us going. One thing I've learned as a boy mom navigating Disney parks solo: comfort is everything. Wear good shoes, bring snacks, and don't be afraid to take breaks. We often find a quiet spot to just sit and enjoy the ambiance, or even pop into a shop for some air conditioning. And speaking of keeping things fresh, I always carry some hand sanitizer, but it's great to know that places like Disney are well-equipped with amenities, including fresh soap & water hand towels in restrooms. Keeping clean hands throughout the day is super important, especially after rides or before snacks! Overall, Disney California Adventure offers such a unique experience. From the thrills of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! (which my mini is still a bit too small for, but I sneak on if he's napping in his stroller with a friend watching!) to the charm of Grizzly Peak, there’s something for everyone. It’s truly a fantastic place to make memories with your "mini." It's not just about the rides; it's about the atmosphere, the characters, and those precious moments you share.
