🌸Sunday Sabbath
🌿 Sunday Sabbath 🌿
Today, the laundry can wait.
The dishes can wait.
The endless to-do list can wait.
Today is for slowing down, opening God’s Word, sharing a meal with the people I love, and remembering that my worth isn’t found in everything I accomplish—it’s found in Christ.
Sabbath reminds me that rest isn’t laziness.
It’s obedience.
It’s trusting God enough to stop striving and simply be with Him.
So today, I’m choosing quiet over busy, gratitude over hurry, and peace over pressure.
“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 🤍
I pray your Sunday is filled with laughter around the table, moments of stillness, grateful hearts, and the gentle reminder that God is faithful in every season.
Happy Sabbath, sweet friends. May your home be filled with His peace today. 🌾☕🤍

As someone who has embraced the practice of a Sunday Sabbath, I can personally attest to the transformative power of taking intentional rest. In our fast-paced world, it’s easy to get caught up in chores like laundry, cleaning, and endless to-do lists, but setting aside time to slow down has been invaluable for my mental and spiritual health. One of the most profound things I've learned is that Sabbath rest isn’t about laziness; it’s about obedience and trust—trusting God enough to stop striving and simply be present with Him. This aligns beautifully with the verse from Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Taking that moment to be still helped me realize my worth goes beyond accomplishments and productivity. Practically speaking, this means I consciously choose to delay tasks like cleaning or errands, focusing instead on reading scripture, enjoying meals with loved ones, and fostering a sense of gratitude and peace. Creating this space on Sundays brings restful rejuvenation, helping me tackle the upcoming week with clarity and calm. Additionally, incorporating simple rituals like lighting a candle, making a cup of tea, or taking a quiet walk outside enhances the Sabbath experience. It reminds me that rest is a sacred gift, a time to reconnect with God and my inner self amidst the noise of daily responsibilities. In the Summer Edition of Sunday Sabbath, the gentle rhythms of the season naturally invite us to slow down and savor creation. Whether it’s the warmth of sunlight through a window or the scent of fresh flowers, these sensory moments deepen the spiritual rest this day offers. For anyone feeling overwhelmed or caught in the rush of life, I encourage you to try setting aside this intentional time of Sabbath. It’s a peaceful, loving reminder that your value is found in Christ, and His faithfulness sustains us through every season.
