Autumn is Approaching ๐๐๐ฅฎ
๐ค Iโm backโฆ and my heart is so ready for this season.
There is something about slowing down, lighting a candle, baking bread, and filling a home with peace that feels like coming home.
This little corner of the internet is where Iโll be sharing all the things I love most:
๐ Sourdough & from-scratch recipes
๐ฏ๏ธ Cozy homemaking
๐ Faith-filled encouragement
๐ Bookish moments
๐ Slow living
๐ค Motherhood & creating a home with intention
My prayer is that every post reminds you that a beautiful home isnโt built on perfectionโitโs built with love, grace, and Godโs presence.
Thank you for being here. Whether youโve been following for a while or youโre just joining me, Iโm so grateful youโre here. Letโs make this our coziest, most intentional season yet. โโจ
โUnless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.โ โ Psalm 127:1
As autumn settles in, itโs the perfect time to embrace the slow living lifestyle that brings so much peace and fulfillment. One of my favorite ways to welcome this season is by getting hands-on in the kitchenโespecially with baking sourdough bread from scratch. Thereโs something deeply satisfying about kneading dough, watching it rise, and filling the house with that warm, comforting aroma. Lighting a candle with warm, earthy scents like pumpkin spice or cinnamon instantly sets a cozy atmosphere that invites rest and reflection. I find that these simple rituals help me slow down and appreciate the little moments that make a house a home. This season is also a wonderful opportunity to nurture faith and intentionality in our daily routines. Reflecting on Psalm 127:1 reminds me that a home grounded in love and grace is what truly mattersโnot perfection. Sharing this journey with others who appreciate cozy homemaking, motherhood, and bookish moments enriches the experience and encourages a supportive community. Additionally, autumn inspires me to update my home with natural decorationsโthink dried leaves, acorns, and soft blanketsโthat bring the outdoors in and enhance that feeling of warmth and comfort. I love creating intentional spaces that invite meaningful conversations and moments of gratitude. Whether youโre a seasoned homemaker or just beginning to explore slow living, this autumn season offers a beautiful invitation to create a sanctuary of peace, faith, and love. From baking delicious, wholesome bread to savoring quiet evenings with a good book and a cup of tea, itโs truly about savoring the present while giving thanks for all the blessings around us.
