Tuesday Thoughts 💭
🍞 Tuesday Thoughts | What Sourdough Is Teaching Me
When I first started sourdough, I thought I was just learning to bake bread.
Instead, I found myself learning patience.
Every day I feed my starter. Every day I wait. Some days it doubles beautifully, and other days it seems like nothing is happening. But even when I can’t see much on the surface, it’s still growing.
Isn’t our walk with God like that?
We often want overnight change, instant answers, and quick results. But God works in seasons. He grows us little by little, often in ways we don’t notice until we look back.
Sourdough has reminded me that beautiful things aren’t rushed. They take consistency, care, and trust.
So today, whether you’re feeding your starter, folding laundry, washing dishes, or rocking a baby to sleep, remember this:
🌿 Faithfulness in the ordinary is never wasted.
“Let us not grow weary of doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
What’s something God has been teaching you in this season? I’d love to hear in the comments. 🤍
