✨Morning Bible Reading Routine✨

Morning Bible reading routine as a mom of two and Pastor’s wife. It’s one of my favorite times of year. 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting with my church family. For this 21 days of prayer my heart is that God owes me nothing. That I will be still and pray for what He wants from me not what I want from Him.🫶#morningroutine #biblestudy #mom #pastorswife #21daysofprayer

... Read moreFinding a consistent morning Bible reading routine can feel like a monumental task when you're a busy mom, let alone a pastor's wife juggling multiple responsibilities. Believe me, I've been there! My secret? It's not about perfection, but persistence and flexibility. I've learned that even a short, focused time with God can transform your entire day. For bible reading plan for busy moms, I've tried several approaches. Initially, I felt pressure to read entire chapters, but that often led to frustration. Now, I prefer topical studies or reading plans that break down scripture into smaller, digestible portions. Apps like YouVersion are fantastic for this, offering plans specifically designed for busy schedules. Sometimes, I simply focus on a Psalm or a few verses from a book, meditating on them throughout the day. The key is to find a plan that fits your current season of life, not someone else's ideal. Remember, early morning training isn't about waking up at 4 AM every day if that's not sustainable; it's about finding your quiet time, whether that's before the kids stir, during naptime, or even after they're in bed. When it comes to mom bible study, I've found journaling to be incredibly helpful. It's not just about reading; it's about engaging with the text. I use the SOAP method (Scripture, Observation, Application, Prayer). Reading "Dwelling in Gut-Level Trust" has profoundly impacted how I approach this. It reminds me to truly allow God to carry my burdens and trust Him completely, even when I can't see the full picture. Journaling helps me process what I'm learning and identify how to apply it to my daily life as a mom and wife. What will you choose to trust God with today? Write it down, give it to Him, and let go of the control. For bible morning routine, consistency over quantity is my motto. I try to create a designated space, even if it's just a corner of the kitchen table, with my Bible, journal, and a cup of coffee ready. This signals to my brain that it's time to connect with God. If a full morning routine isn't possible, I break it up. A quick prayer while making breakfast, a verse read during quiet play, or listening to a devotional podcast while doing chores. Every little bit counts towards building that connection. And finally, for moms in prayer prayer sheets, focused prayer has been a game-changer. My church family's 21 days of prayer has been a powerful experience, reminding me to pray not for what *I* want, but for what He wants from me. I create simple prayer sheets, sometimes just a blank page divided into sections: Family, Church, Friends, Personal, World. This helps me organize my thoughts and intentionally pray for specific needs. It’s also wonderful to join a local Moms in Prayer group or simply connect with a friend to share prayer requests. There's immense power in communal prayer. What's most important is showing up, even when you feel tired or distracted. God meets us right where we are.
