🫧 Mario Badescu Rose Body wash
⭐️Overall rating: 5/5: seriously in love with this. the scent literally calms me and makes me feel pretty idk how to describe it LOL
🫧Ciroa pink rose and oat milk body butter
⭐️Overall rating: 4.75/5: i stumbled upon this while searching for a lotion to pair with the body wash and i fell in LOVE. I’ll be honest, it doesn’t smell that great in the container but once it hits my skin it smells AMAZING. so just make sure u find what fits your chemical makeup bc it absolute matches mine. also it isn’t the most moisturizing, for moisture I’d say 7.5/10 so i usually use jergens rose oil lotion as well but i ran out when making this thread.
ANYWAYS i thought id share my simple, smell good secret 🤭🤭 lmk what u guys use for a perfumed rose scent. don’t gatekeep :)))
... Read moreHey everyone! I’m so glad you’re interested in bringing the magic of rose into your shower, because trust me, it’s a game-changer! Beyond just the amazing products I shared, I’ve found there are even more ways to elevate your routine and really embrace that luxurious rose scent.
For those of you wondering, 'can the rose be used in the shower?' – absolutely, yes! While my go-to includes beautiful rose-scented body soap and that incredible rose and oat milk body butter, there are other elements you can add. Have you ever tried a rosewater mist? A quick spritz on your skin right after rinsing off your body wash can give you an extra layer of delicate fragrance and a refreshing feel. I sometimes keep a small bottle of pure rosewater in the bathroom just for this purpose. It’s a wonderful way to prep your skin before applying your body butter, helping to lock in moisture and that lovely scent.
Another personal tip if you're looking to really immerse yourself is considering rose essential oil, but with caution! Always dilute it properly with a carrier oil like jojoba or almond oil before applying it to your skin, or add a few drops to an unscented bath oil. You can even put a few drops on a warm, damp washcloth and hang it near your shower stream for a natural, diffused aromatherapy experience. The steam really helps carry the scent throughout your bathroom, making it feel like a true spa escape. Just be mindful not to let undiluted essential oils touch your skin directly or go down the drain in large quantities.
I've also heard of people using actual dried rose petals in their baths, but for a shower, it might be a bit messy for your drain! Instead, you could create a small sachet of dried rose petals and hang it in your shower just out of the direct water spray. The steam will gently release their natural aroma, adding another dimension to your fragrant experience. It’s a subtle touch, but it really elevates the mood.
Beyond just smelling good, rose has some lovely benefits for your skin too. It's often praised for its soothing and hydrating properties, which is why I love products like the rose and oat milk body butter. It helps calm my skin and leaves it feeling soft and supple. Even that simple white bar of soap I mentioned, like Dove, provides a gentle cleanse that sets the stage for all the lovely rose products to follow.
To make that beautiful rose scent last even longer, I’ve learned that layering is key. Start with a rose-scented body wash, then layer with a matching or complementary body butter. Some people even use a rose-scented deodorant or hair mist. It's all about building up the scent subtly so it becomes a part of you throughout the day. It’s truly remarkable how a consistent routine focused on a scent you love can boost your mood and confidence. So go ahead, embrace the rose, and let your shower become your ultimate self-care sanctuary!
Love these!
