Firstly, professional dental treatments are considered one of the safest and most effective ways to whiten teeth. Dentists offer in-office whitening procedures that use stronger bleaching agents than over-the-counter kits. These treatments are done under expert supervision, which reduces the chances of tooth sensitivity and ensures even whitening results. If you have experienced sensitivity with strips, informing your dentist can lead to customized solutions like desensitizing gels or slower application processes that are gentler on enamel. For those who prefer at-home solutions, look for whitening kits that include enamel protection or lower peroxide concentrations. Some kits also come with remineralizing ingredients to help strengthen teeth. Additionally, avoid frequent use of whitening strips to minimize discomfort and consult user reviews to select kits designed specifically for sensitive teeth. Natural remedies might help somewhat but should be used cautiously. Options such as brushing with baking soda, oil pulling with coconut oil, or eating crunchy fruits and vegetables to help clean teeth can provide mild whitening effects. However, these methods do not offer quick or dramatic changes and should complement regular dental care. Maintaining good oral hygiene is essential for long-term whitening results. Besides brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss daily and use an antibacterial mouthwash to prevent plaque buildup, which can cause discoloration. Also, limit consumption of staining foods and drinks like coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. Finally, consult with your dentist before trying new whitening products or remedies, especially if you have sensitive teeth or existing dental conditions. Personalized advice from a dental professional combined with safe, appropriate whitening options can help you achieve a brighter smile without discomfort. In summary, fixing yellow teeth involves a combination of professional dental treatments, careful at-home whitening choices, proper oral hygiene, and lifestyle adjustments. Taking these steps can improve your dental health and boost your confidence in your smile.

You have to try the whitening strips for 14 days straight to see any results. The pain/sensitivity is normal and everyone who uses whitening strip goes through that. If you’re not convinced you can try get it professionally whitened at a dentist, be prepared for x10000 pain+sensitivity and a downtime of 1 day (you won’t be able to concentrate on doing anything with the pain). You will be given panadol from dentist to consume the day after because they know it is that painful. TLDR; the pain you’re experiencing using whitening strips is literally normal and not that bad. If you wanna say it’s not, try getting your teeth professionally whitened at the dentist. $800++ gone and pain so bad that you have to take 2 panadol the day afterwards.
