I’m the chosen one
I answered the calling on my life,,,, I poured into so many others, this season I’m pouring it all back into me ❤️#inspo #motivation #inspiration #CHERIE #amor
Have you ever felt like you've been giving your all to everyone else, putting their needs and dreams before your own? That's exactly where I found myself for a long time. I genuinely loved supporting others, cheering them on, and sharing my energy. It felt like I was answering a call – a call to serve, to uplift, to be there for people. And honestly, there's immense joy in that! But after a while, I started to feel a little depleted, like my own well was running dry. That's when I realized a profound truth: you can't pour from an empty cup. This realization wasn't about being selfish; it was about stewardship of my own spirit and energy. It hit me that being "chosen" isn't just about serving others; it's also about taking care of the vessel that God chose to do that work through – which is me! I saw the phrase "So Grateful God Chose Me" and it really resonated. If I'm chosen, then I have a responsibility to nurture that choice. So, this season, my focus has shifted. As the OCR snippet perfectly puts it, "But this season I'm pouring back into me and only me." This doesn't mean I've stopped caring about others, but it means prioritizing my well-being. It's about recognizing that my capacity to help others is directly linked to how much I've invested in myself. How am I doing this? It's a mix of small, intentional acts. It could be dedicating time to hobbies I love but neglected, like reading or painting. It's about setting boundaries with my time and energy, learning to say 'no' when I need to recharge. It's about reconnecting with my spiritual practices, spending quiet time in reflection, and journaling my thoughts. Sometimes, it's simply taking a long, hot bath or enjoying a healthy meal without rushing. If you're feeling a similar pull, I encourage you to listen to it. Your calling might involve helping others, but it absolutely includes nurturing yourself. Think about what truly replenishes your spirit. What makes you feel alive and vibrant? Start there. Embrace the idea that you are worthy of that same love and care you so freely give away. This journey of self-love and self-care isn't a destination, but a beautiful, ongoing process. It’s about honoring the divine purpose within you, and truly believing that you, too, are the chosen one.
