#emergingcreator Cheesy Garlic Shrimp Bread
Ingredients
1 large French bread loaf or Italian bread loaf 1 pound large shrimp, peeled, deveined, and tails removed 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened 4 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons mayonnaise 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
Instructions
1\. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2\. Slice the bread loaf lengthwise and place both halves cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
3\. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, mayonnaise, cream cheese, Italian seasoning, and half of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
4\. Spread the garlic mixture evenly over both bread halves.
5\. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Toss them with olive oil, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
6\. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp for about 1–2 minutes per side, until pink and nearly cooked through. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
7\. Arrange the shrimp evenly over the garlic bread. Sprinkle generously with mozzarella cheese and the remaining Parmesan cheese.
8\. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden and the bread is crisp around the edges. If desired, broil for another 1–2 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.
9\. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and red pepper flakes, if desired.
10\. Let the bread rest for 2 minutes, then slice into thick pieces and serve warm while the cheese is melted and stretchy.
