If you’re new to freelancing or have made a decision to become your own boss, there are a few crucial things that a lot of newbies have missed out completely. Firstly , most important thing is to put away at least 12 months of savings to cover your personal and business expenses. There are a lot of information online that is mentioning at least 6 months, I will feel that it is definitely not enough as there are always unforeseen expenditures along the way. And also this is to direct all my attention onto building instead of diverting my focus. Secondly, most crucial skill you must acquire is knowing how to SELL. Sell your services, your products and yourself as a brand. This is the most rewarding skill any person should acquire before venturing out. Thirdly, always review your progress weekly to make sure that you are on track and progressing. Last but not least, always spend to upgrade your skills. I don’t believe in free lunches. Only when you spend you will appreciate more than the stuff you get for free. Spending to get a right mentor for your area of business is a very viable option to shorten your learning curve. Have a great Sunday 🦁
