I don’t think there’s a color I haven’t tried with @stephanyvanstone. She’s the only person I would ever trust to bring me from Red to green and back to Red again! It’s been so long since I’ve done a new color though. Years! Should I try any of these again? Or do something new?

Changing hair color can be such a fun and liberating experience, especially when you have a trusted stylist who can take you through bold transformations safely and beautifully. I've personally gone through a kaleidoscope of colors—from fiery reds to striking greens—and each color tells a story of mood and style at that time. One important tip I've learned is to consider the health of your hair when jumping between vivid colors. Colors like green or blue often require bleaching beforehand to achieve that brightness, and maintaining hair moisture is essential to keeping your locks vibrant and healthy. Regular deep conditioning treatments and using sulfate-free shampoos designed for color-treated hair help prolong the life of these vivid shades. Another thing to keep in mind is color fade. Vivid colors, especially pink and blue, tend to fade faster, so touch-ups every few weeks might be necessary if you want to keep the intensity. Embracing the fade can also be a creative chance to enjoy soft pastels or ombre effects as the colors mellow. Personally, I always discuss with my stylist the kind of colors that not only suit my skin tone but also fit my lifestyle, since some colors require more upkeep than others. If you're considering trying something new, I recommend starting with semi-permanent dyes, which offer flexibility to change colors more frequently without heavy damage. Lastly, sharing your hair color journey on social platforms can connect you with a community facing similar choices and challenges, offering tips and support. Whether revisiting your favorite red or exploring a new bold hue, the adventure of vivid hair color is about expressing yourself boldly and confidently.
