A 36-year-old man rented a gun from a shooting range in Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi, smoking a cigarette before bringing the gun out to end his life outside the field.

On Aug. 18, 69, Col. General Chong Thong, Superintendent of Bang Bua Thong, Nonthaburi, with a police officer, was reported to have been shot dead at the shooting range in Bang Bua Thong, where officers were intercepted.

The crash site was outside the shooting training building, where a 36-year-old man was found lying in a pile of blood, next to the torso, an 11-millimeter firearm was found, a gunshot wound in the head.

Chai, an eyewitness field officer, said the deceased had rented a gun at the shooting range and tried to take the gun out of the field.
