now, i know the competition for the #falllipcombo is over but i still wanted to share mine 😊
i would consider this style korean beauty or k beauty inspired for the light blurry look i go for ! i included a picture at the end of the slide that shows how i do placement to achieve the look 🔎
steps and products ✨
1️⃣ i begin by placing my concealer around the outside of my lips (just a few small dots) and blending that over the lip. i use the elf camo matte finish concealer in the same color i use for my under eyes but i think really any concealer will do!
2️⃣ i then go in with my ulta luxe matte lipstick in the shade red flag. this specific product is from a christmas bundle so it is not available at the moment but i really think any creamy red lipstick would work, it’s just important that it’s long lasting and can be blended nicely! i would not use the elf lipsticks for this look because i find that it doesn’t blend right when i’ve used it in the past.
3️⃣ the final product i use is the Shein SHEGLAM take a hint lip tint in the shade mood. this product is no longer available, it’s a deep almost green color that gives the lips a very natural shadow look, it’s very thin and applies nicely over top of the other lipstick. im unsure on a good dupe for this product. it is important to only apply this product to the innermost middle part of the lip then lightly blend it out by tapping the lips together. this will create just the shadow effect on that inside part.
i find that this look lasts me most of the day! i often finish the look by adding highlight to my cupids bow and the bottom of my lower lip ✨
