Doomed Moonlight au doodles

Hey everyone! I've been absolutely craving some creative time lately, and that led me down a rabbit hole of doodling, especially inspired by the incredible Harmony & Horror universe. You know those moments when an AU just sparks your imagination? That's exactly what happened with the 'Doomed Moonlight AU' for me! I know a lot of you out there might be searching for 'kemono doodles,' and while my work isn't strictly traditional kemono, I think you'll find some similar vibes in the stylized, expressive characters I've been sketching. My focus often leans into anthropomorphic or highly stylized figures, much like the charming (and sometimes unsettling!) puppet-like characters you see in the Harmony & Horror lore. The sun-faced puppet, for instance, has such a distinct personality, and capturing that in a quick doodle is such a fun challenge. My latest batch of purple-toned sketches really captures the mood I was going for. I experimented with different scenes, like one piece showing a smiling man and a woman with curly hair, both looking at each other against a purple background – it just felt right for the AU's aesthetic. Another sketch delves into a more introspective moment, with a man looking at a reflection of that iconic sun-faced puppet in a mirror, and you can see another man's distressed face in the foreground, adding to the eerie atmosphere. It’s all about those small, impactful moments! I also loved playing around with the two main stylized puppet-like figures standing side-by-side; one with stripes, the other with that instantly recognizable sun-like face. There's so much character in their simple forms. And of course, a close-up sketch of the sun-faced puppet with a distressed expression, framed by swirling lines, really lets you feel the emotion. These aren't just random drawings; they're quick, heartfelt interpretations of a world I adore. Doodles are such a fantastic way to explore ideas without the pressure of a finished piece. They allow me to capture fleeting thoughts or character interactions from the 'Doomed Moonlight AU' quickly. I love how the purple tones tie everything together, giving the entire collection a cohesive, dreamlike quality. It's been so satisfying to see these puppet sketches come to life on paper.
