Dollar Tree Curly Hair Product Finds!
I’ve been on a major budget since becoming unemployed so I’ve been needing to find the BEST of the BEST deals. Needed to get some shampoo and conditioner and ran across this at dollar tree.
I was intrigued at first with the very cute packaging, like these bottles are hella cute and they feel nice. AND it’s for curly hair??? YES need.
Looked up a couple reviews online real quick and got a couple of each!
Haven’t used yet, but they smell ok. Maybe not the primer but for $1.25 ??? Idc what it smells like if it works on my curls and does the job, then hell ya!
If anyone has tried these before wdyt??? Lmk!

It's such a game-changer when you snag quality curly hair products without emptying your wallet, especially when you're watching your budget! My recent Dollar Tree adventure for these Twist by Ouidad finds just proves that you don't always need to spend a fortune to care for your curls. I was so excited to see their 'ON-REPEAT Gentle Oil Infused Shampoo' and 'GIMME IT ALL 4-in-1 Hydrating Conditioner' – these sound perfect for adding moisture without weighing down my curls. The idea of an oil-infused shampoo from Dollar Tree is particularly intriguing for curly hair, which often craves that extra hydration. Plus, finding the 'RALLY THE CURLS Weightless Curl-Defining Primer' and 'PRIMED & CO 2-in-1 Conditioner & Primer' at that price point is seriously a steal. Usually, dedicated primers and leave-ins can be quite pricey, so getting these for just $1.25 each is a huge win for my haircare budget. When you're hunting for budget-friendly curly hair products at Dollar Tree, there are a few things I always keep in mind. First, always check the ingredient list. Look for moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, coconut oil, argan oil, and aloe vera. If your hair tends to get weighed down or frizzes easily, look for products that emphasize "weightless" or "curl-defining" properties, just like the specific Twist by Ouidad primer I found. Try to avoid heavy sulfates and silicones if your hair is sensitive to them, though for $1.25, sometimes you just have to experiment! I also quickly pull out my phone and do a quick search for reviews. Even if it's a new line at Dollar Tree, a brand might have existing reviews for similar products that can give you a hint of their effectiveness. Beyond just shampoo and conditioner, Dollar Tree can sometimes surprise you with other curly hair essentials. I’ve definitely heard of people finding clarifying shampoo options there, which is so great for removing product buildup without stripping your hair. For those looking for a good curl cream, while a high-end one might be rare, you can often find thicker conditioners or even styling mousses that can double as a lightweight curl definer. While a dedicated hair serum might be harder to come by, sometimes you can spot small bottles of hair oil that work similarly to seal in moisture and add shine, especially after styling. And for those looking for hold, don't overlook the potential for a basic hair gel. It might not be a high-end product, but for defining curls on a budget, it’s absolutely worth a shot. My biggest tip? Don't be afraid to experiment! What works for one person's curls might not work for another's, and at $1.25 a pop, it's a low-risk way to discover new favorites. Remember, even if a product isn't a perfect match for your curls, you can sometimes repurpose it – maybe that conditioner makes a great shaving cream, or a shampoo works for your body wash! It's all about making your budget stretch while keeping those curls happy and healthy. I'm really keen to see how these specific Twist by Ouidad products perform for me, and I'll definitely share an update after a few washes. What are your personal go-to Dollar Tree hair care hacks or amazing finds that have transformed your curls?
