picanhas' halal steakhouse stole my heart 3 years ago…and their food has hit every single time i have been back ❤️ this is the perfect place for date night and their prices are decently affordable too! service is always amazing, i love chatting with their friendly servers~
🍝 mentaiko crepe pasta $24
this dish offers a really unique flavour profile! the prawns are insanely fresh and well seasoned, and and drizzled with mentaiko sauce😋 the mentaiko taste isn’t as strong as what you would normally get in a typical mentaiko pasta, but i think the main point is the chili oil in this case 🌶️ it's super aromatic and evenly coats the thin strips of pasta, giving a little twist to the usual jap fusion dish ~
🍔 people’s burger $25
the charcoal buns are crisp on the outside and super soft on the inside! the stars of the show imo are the caramelised onions and bernaise sauce, which pairs so well together and brought a perfect mix of sweetness and creaminess🤤 what is slightly lacking is the seasoning in the meat patty where most of the flavour comes from the smokiness of the patty being well charred
🥩 queen of steak $34
this is their signature dish, featuring a Brazilian BBQ inspired, medium-rare steak that is particularly fatty and juicy💦 each bite was succulent and paired amazingly with the garlic aioli sauce. could not recommend this dish enough💯
🍎 apple crumble $18
this dish isn’t on their menu but you can still order it w the waiter! i highly recommend everyone try this because omg…i never liked apple crumble much until i tried this. the crumble is encased in thin crepe-like layers, which gives the dessert more substance than the regular one 😮💨 their apples are perfectly caramelised and goes so well with the sweet crumble and vanilla ice cream 🍨 perfect end to our meal!
100% urge everyone to try this steakhouse when you get the chance 🫶🏻
