God Sees You/ We're Not Invisible to him .
First of all, You are not unseen. Not overlooked. Not forgotten.
God has a way of reminding us—even when life makes us feel invisible—that He sees everything, especially you.
Let me share some scriptures you can sit with, not just read:. These scriptures have encouraged me when these feelings invade my heart .
1. Genesis 16:13
“You are the God who sees me…”
This is Hagar speaking—feeling rejected, alone, pushed out…
and yet she calls God El Roi — the God who sees.
👉 Even in isolation… He still saw her.
2. Psalm 33:13–15
“The Lord looks down from heaven; He sees all mankind… He considers everything they do.”
👉 Not a glance… not a quick look…
He considers you. He pays attention.
3. Psalm 139:1–3
“O Lord, You have searched me and known me… You understand my thought afar off… You are acquainted with all my ways.”
👉 Before you speak it… before you process it…
He already knows, my thoughts, my ways, my plans. And He sees me. God Sees You too.
All I can say is Thank you Jesus, for seeing me.
Feeling invisible can be an isolating experience, but reflecting on scriptures like those shared in this article can offer profound comfort and reassurance. From personal experience, there have been times when circumstances made me feel overlooked—not just by people, but even by life itself. In those moments, meditating on God's attribute as El Roi, "the God who sees," helped me regain hope and strength. One verse that particularly resonates is Psalm 33:13–15, which emphasizes that God doesn't just glance at us superficially; He carefully considers everything we do. This reminds me that even my smallest actions and silent struggles are known and valued. It's a deeply personal reminder that God’s attention is not fleeting but intentional. Additionally, Psalm 139 reveals God's intimate knowledge of our thoughts and ways before we even speak or act. This level of understanding is comforting because it means that even when we feel misunderstood or invisible to others, we are never truly alone. God is with us, seeing our hearts and walking with us through every challenge. In practical terms, I find it helpful to write down these verses and revisit them whenever those feelings of invisibility creep in. Sometimes, sharing these scriptures with friends going through similar experiences reinforces the message that none of us are unseen by the Divine. Remembering that God sees you can transform loneliness into a sacred connection. If you are feeling unseen today, try taking a moment to quietly reflect on these truths. Let them remind you that your struggles and your presence matter deeply, and that you are never forgotten in the eyes of God.
