Make Halloween a real treat with these fun skeleton thumbprint cookies!

Easy Jack Skellington Cookies -

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups allpurpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

Pinch salt

1/4 cup jam

Preheat the oven to 350°F, line cookie sheet with parchment paper

Cream together butter and sugar

Add egg and vanilla

Mix until blended

Slowly mix in flour, baking powder and salt

Scoop dough into balls and roll in sugar

Place on prepared pans and flatten each cookie slightly

Make an indentation for eyes and fill with 1/4 tsp of jam

Bake 10-12 min

Cool slightly and move to cooling rack to cool completely

Melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave in 15 second increments

Place melted chocolate in piping bag and decorate cookies
