I've heard such good things about this book, so I was excited to start it, but hesitant also because of personal triggers.

This book took me a while to get through, partially because I was in a slump and I started binging TWD.🤣but I also just didn't feel connected to the characters even though I experienced the same loss as both of them.

Cade kinda pmo for the first 50% of this book ngl🤨

I did like the dual pov, and the flashbacks so we got to see it from both main characters sides. I just felt like Cade was always hot/cold with Mare. And the whole book was a big miscommunication that could've been easily handled if he was honest with her at the airport.

But, once they got over their issues, I did like them together.

And Cade building the house they talked about together was so sweet!

I am interested to see Pippa and Camdens story because I feel like the banter would be good. But idk when I'm gonna get to that one😅

i love toners to add that hydration right after washing the face, and these are some that i have and used in the past as someone with oily, acne-prone skin! 🩵 isntree hyaluronic acid toner — 9/10 i loveee how hydrating this is as it goes deep into multiple layers of skin to help retain moisture
