Cast your burdens on Him. 🌊
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.

It's so easy to feel overwhelmed, isn't it? There are days when the weight of responsibilities, worries, or even just the daily grind feels like too much to carry. I know I've been there, staring at my journal page, feeling the heavy grip of anxiety and wondering how I can possibly keep going. That's when verses like Matthew 11:28-30 truly become a lifeline. It’s not just a nice quote; it's a profound invitation from Jesus Himself: 'Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.' But what does it really mean to 'cast our burdens on Him'? For me, it’s about actively releasing control and trusting that Jesus is capable and willing to take on what's weighing me down. It’s acknowledging that I don’t have to solve everything on my own. Often, I'll write down my anxieties, just like in that journal entry I mentioned, listing out every single thing that feels heavy. Then, as I read Matthew 11:28-30, I mentally (or even physically, by drawing a cross next to each item) hand them over to Him. It's a symbolic act, but it brings immense peace. Another powerful scripture that comes to mind is Psalms 62:8, which says, 'Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.' This perfectly complements Matthew's invitation. It encourages us to open up completely, pouring out our deepest fears and struggles in personal prayer. This isn't just about saying words; it's about connecting with a God who listens and cares. My prayer journal has become such a sacred space for this. I highlight words, draw little leaves, and truly make it my own space to process and pray. And for anyone who’s ever felt like 'I am not a burden' but struggles with the feeling of actually being a burden to others or to God – hear this: Jesus never views you as a burden. His invitation is open to all who are heavy laden. His yoke is easy, and His burden is light because He helps us carry it. You don't have to be perfect or have it all together to come to Him. Just come as you are, with all your worries and anxieties, and let Him give you the rest you desperately need. It's a journey of learning to lean on His strength, not our own.

❤️ this I like the NVI version though easy for me to understand thank you for sharing and God bless 🙏
