A bittersweet milestone 💛
I know my little girl needs to be around other kids and learn to socialize, but not having her with me today fills me with so much mom guilt. Another “first” to add to the list - her very first day of daycare 😩😭

Sending your little one off to daycare for the first time is a milestone filled with mixed emotions. Many parents can relate to the overwhelming mom guilt that comes from stepping back, even when knowing it's an important step for their child's social growth and development. It’s normal to worry about whether you’ve packed everything perfectly, like lunchboxes or snacks — as highlighted by the struggle to fit popcorn into the lunchbox, a common real-life parenting moment. Daycare offers toddlers vital opportunities to learn social skills, share, and grow independence by interacting with peers. While it’s difficult for parents to be apart from their children, this new environment helps toddlers develop confidence and emotional intelligence. It’s important to allow yourself grace as a working mom navigating these changes, realizing that every "first day" is a giant leap towards your child’s future. Sharing these emotions openly, using supportive communities like #MomLifeUnfiltered and #ParentingJourney, enables parents to connect and feel less alone during these transitions. Embracing the bittersweet feelings and recognizing that mom guilt is real but manageable is part of a healthy parenting journey. Remember, your heart might feel full and hands might feel busy, but your love and presence are constants that your child carries every day.

Awe I have the same one for my little. I usually open and dump everything in 😂
