Welcome to my world
Many people hear the phrase 'soft life journey' and immediately picture luxurious vacations, endless spa days, or a life completely free of responsibilities. While those elements can certainly be part of it for some, for me, as a SAHM of 2, my soft life journey looks a little different – and it's incredibly fulfilling. It’s not about avoiding work or challenges; it’s about intentionally designing a life that feels gentle, sustainable, and rich in meaning, rather than constantly striving or feeling overwhelmed. So, what does a 'soft life' truly mean when you're a full-time mother to two active children? For me, it's about cultivating inner peace and external harmony within my home and personal space. It's about being present, making conscious choices that reduce stress, and prioritizing well-being for myself and my family. It means recognizing that my role is demanding, but I can choose how I navigate those demands. It's a mindset shift that allows me to find joy in the everyday moments, even the chaotic ones. One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned on this journey is the importance of small, consistent habits. I've found that even just 15 minutes of quiet time in the morning, before my two little ones are fully awake, makes a world of difference. Whether it’s sipping a hot cup of tea, doing a quick journal entry, or simply enjoying the stillness, this small ritual sets a calm tone for my entire day. I'm also a big believer in creating routines that simplify rather than complicate. This isn’t about rigid schedules but about having predictable flows for meals, playtime, and bedtime, which brings a sense of security and predictability for everyone. Another key aspect of my soft life as a SAHM of 2 is learning to embrace imperfection. The house won't always be spotless, and dinner won't always be gourmet. And that's okay! Letting go of the pressure to be perfect in every aspect has freed up so much mental space. Instead, I focus on creating a warm, loving, and functional environment. This also extends to self-care. It’s not always about grand gestures; sometimes it’s just taking a few extra minutes in the shower, listening to my favorite podcast while doing chores, or cozying up with a book after the kids are asleep. These small acts of kindness to myself are crucial for replenishing my energy. Finally, my soft life journey involves intentional connections. This means prioritizing quality time with my partner and children, truly listening to them, and engaging in activities we all enjoy. It also means nurturing my friendships and making time for those relationships that uplift me. A soft life isn't lived in isolation; it's enriched by the people around us. By making these deliberate choices, I'm not just living a soft life; I'm building a soft life for myself and my family, one gentle step at a time. It’s a continuous process, but one that brings immense peace and fulfillment every single day.

As terrified as I am of being up high that helicopter view looks amazing 😍
