College burnout is so real
College can feel like a nonstop grind sometimes — exams, organizations, internships, social life… it’s easy to hit a wall if you don’t take care of yourself 💭. I’ve definitely felt close to burnout before, and what’s helped me the most has been being intentional with how I spend my time.
For me, that looks like setting aside at least one pocket of time each week just for me — whether that’s eating comfort food in bed or just unplugging for a night 🍝✨. I also try to keep hobbies that have nothing to do with school so I’m not always “on.” And most importantly, surrounding myself with people who actually uplift me has made a huge difference.
At the end of the day, college is supposed to be a time of growth, not constant exhaustion. These are just a few things I’ve learned that help me prevent burnout and keep a balance 🤍.
