Day 5 Cetrotide STAT
Mid work meeting, I received a call from the doctor. Day 5 labs are back. Doctor said my estrogen is over 1000, typically they advise Cetrotide at 250. She said there’s nothing to be worried about but that I should take the Cetrotide ASAP to keep follicles from ovulating. So starting today it’ll be 3 injections per day; 1 (Cetrotide) in the morning and 2 in evening (Gonal & Menopur). After taking the Cetrotide injection my skin started itchy, turned red and puffed up. Checked online and saw that it’s normal. Wont lie this shot makes me nervous for future since I’ll have to take it every morning.
