Using different types of flowers not only adds a beautiful visual touch but also brings in natural scents that create a calming atmosphere. One of my favorite tips is to source dried flowers and embed them carefully into the wax to prevent burning or discoloration. They often share the best types of wax, wicks, and flower combinations to use for a longer-lasting candle. Plus, the act of crafting these candles myself has become a weekend life ritual and a mindful activity that significantly boosts my self-care practices. Handmade candles also make wonderful personalized gifts to share wellness with friends and family. Overall, creating self-care candles by hand allows me to bring a little beauty and peace into my everyday life.
