「セレニック防水スプレーって、靴じゃなくて服に使って大丈夫？」と気になって、わたしも最初すごく調べました。結論、服にも“汚れ予防”として役立つことが多いです。ただし、素材や使い方を間違えると白くなったり、においが残ったりするので、ここだけは押さえておくと安心です。 まず、セレニック防水スプレーを服に使う目的は「汚れを落とす」ではなく「未来の汚れを防ぐ」こと。特に子どもの服は、襟元の皮脂・汗、食べこぼしの油分、泥はねがセットでついてきますよね…。うちは食事のたびに汚れが増えていくので、汚れてから戦うより、先にバリアを作るほうがラクでした。 使う場所は、わたしは襟元（首回り）と胸元（食べこぼしが落ちる位置）を中心にしています。やり方はシンプルで、①洗濯してしっかり乾かす→②必ず屋外で換気（できれば風上に立つ）→③20〜30cm離して薄く均一にスプレー→④完全に乾かす、の流れ。ここで「一気に効果を出したくて近距離でベタ塗り」しがちなんですが、ムラや白浮きの原因になりやすいので、薄く重ねるイメージが失敗しにくいです。 注意点も大事で、まずはタグ表示を確認。シルクや特殊加工、起毛素材は向かないことがあるので、目立たない場所で試してからが安心です。色柄ものは特に、白っぽく見える（粉っぽい）仕上がりになることがあるので要チェック。あと、スプレー後に乾ききる前に着たり触ったりすると、におい移りや手に付く感じが残ることがあるので、時間に余裕がある日にやるのがおすすめです。 汚れがすでについている場合は、防水スプレー前にリセットしておくと効果が分かりやすいです。わたしは襟の黄ばみには「食器用洗剤＋過炭酸ナトリウム＋お湯」を使って20分置き、しっかりすすいでから洗濯→完全乾燥→セレニック防水スプレー、の順にすると、再発しにくく感じました。 最後に、子どもの服は消耗品とはいえ、お気に入りって簡単に捨てられないですよね。セレニック防水スプレーは“魔法”ではないけど、日々の「汚れストレス」を減らす予防策としてはかなり助かりました。まずは1着だけ、襟元に薄く試すところからやってみると安心です。
