It’s been two full weeks since her last chemo, and for the first time in a while, we’re seeing her again.
Yesterday, she got out of bed, put on her makeup, did her lashes, and made Easter baskets for the grandbabies like the incredible woman she is!! And today? She woke up feeling just as strong.
We’ve made the decision to pause treatment until after her second bucket list trip… because right now, it’s about living. It’s about joy, memories, laughter, and squeezing every beautiful moment out of life.
I just want her to experience as much happiness as possible, for as long as possible.
Thank you all for the love, the prayers, and the constant support for my beautiful wife. It truly means more than you’ll ever know. 🩷🩷🩷

Pausing treatment to focus on quality of life is a personal and courageous decision. From experience, taking time to enjoy simple moments, like putting on makeup or creating Easter baskets for family, brings profound joy and empowerment.
These moments create lasting memories that cancer cannot take away. It’s essential to support patients in chasing happiness, whether through bucket list trips or everyday smiles. The mental boost from feeling strong and independent often improves emotional well-being and can positively influence healing.
Family and community support, through love and prayers, also play a crucial role in maintaining hope and strength. Being surrounded by positivity encourages patients to keep fighting while savoring the present.
Ultimately, cancer treatment is about more than controlling the disease; it's about embracing life’s preciousness and making every day meaningful. Felicia’s journey reminds us all to cherish the laughter, joy, and memories taped between treatments, turning each day into a celebration of life itself.
