「甲賀市で古民家カフェを探してる」「滋賀の古民家カフェでゆっくりしたい」って時に、実際行ってよかったのが里山の中の『coffee shop くるみや』でした。道中はのどかな景色が続いて、“おもいでの家”みたいに 懐かしい雰囲気の古民家がふっと現れる感じ。初めてでも「ここだ！」って分かる佇まいで、到着した瞬間から気分が上がります。 店内は想像より広めで、畳席があるのが特にうれしいポイント。靴を脱いで座れるので、観光で歩き回ったあとでも一気に疲れがほどけます。木の梁や建具の雰囲気がそのまま残っていて、写真を撮るとどこも絵になるのに、落ち着いて過ごせる“静かな心地よさ”がありました。BGMは洋楽で、和の空間にほどよくミックスされていて居心地が良いです。 私のおすすめは、軽めランチならミックスサンド。ソースが濃厚で、最後まで飽きずに食べられました。甘いもの派はアフォガードが絶対。エスプレッソの香りと苦さがちゃんと立っていて、アイスの甘みと合わさる瞬間が最高です。「珈琲好きならきっと気に入る」という言葉、ほんとその通りでした。 行く前に知っておくと安心なのはお休みの日。木曜に加えて第一日曜や毎月26日など変則なので、公式SNSで営業日チェックがおすすめです。里山エリアは周辺にお店が多くない分、“せっかく来たのに休みだった”を避けたいところ。駐車場があるので車移動が便利で、滋賀ドライブの目的地にもぴったりでした。 甲賀市の古民家カフェで、静かに過ごして、美味しいサンドとアフォガードで満たされたい日に。また季節を変えて行きたくなる場所です。
