「二ツ島観光ホテルって実際どう？」と迷っている人向けに、泊まって感じたポイントを追記します。 まず良かったのは、“二ツ島が見える角度”が想像以上に近いこと。露天風呂はもちろん、内湯の大きな窓からも二ツ島がどーんと見えて、天気がいい日は海と空のグラデーションにずっと癒されます。私は夕方→夜→朝で3回入りましたが、時間帯で雰囲気が全然違いました。夕方は波の音が心地よく、夜は灯りが入ってしっとり、朝は空気が澄んでいて写真も撮りやすいです。 温泉はpH8.5のやわらかめの湯で、肌がつるっとする感じがありました。熱すぎないので長湯しやすく、海水浴のあとや運転疲れにもぴったり。洗い場も広めで清潔感があって、混んでいても使いやすかったです。脱衣所（パウダールーム）も明るく、身支度がしやすいのも地味に助かりました。 あと、湯上がり処の無料ドリンクバーが嬉しいポイント。私は麦茶と黒酢を交互に飲んで、のぼせ対策にしました。日本酒も置いてあるので、軽く一杯したい人にも合います（飲みすぎ注意）。 行き方は車なら北茨城ICから約6分で、夏の繁忙期でも“到着までがラク”なのがありがたいです。電車派なら磯原駅からタクシーで約5分。チェックイン前後に海沿いを散歩するだけでも気持ちいいので、少し早めに着くのがおすすめ。 写真を撮るなら、露天風呂は湯気や水滴でレンズが曇りやすいので、入浴前に外気でスマホを少し冷ましておくと失敗が減りました。二ツ島を入れる構図は、窓枠や手すりを“額縁”みたいに使うと旅っぽい雰囲気が出ます。 「二ツ島（震災前の姿が気になる）」という声も見かけますが、私は“今の景色”として、海と岩の迫力をしっかり楽しめました。絶景×温泉を重視するなら、かなり満足度が高い宿だと思います。
