私が行ってみて「ここ事前に知っておけばよかった！」と思ったポイントをまとめます。これから鬼怒川温泉で貸切露天風呂を探している人、家族でもカップルでも参考になるはず。 まず予約。ここは“完全予約制”なので、週末や連休は本当に埋まるのが早かったです。時間枠を選ぶタイプなので、行きたい日が決まったら早めに確保がおすすめ。特に「カップルで静かに入りたい」「家族で周りを気にせず入りたい」みたいな人ほど、直前だと希望時間が取りにくい印象でした。 次に、部屋っぽい造りが想像以上に便利でした。貸切露天だけじゃなくて、待機できるスペースがあるので、湯上がりにすぐ帰らず“ひと呼吸”できるのが良かったです。冷蔵庫があるのも地味に助かるポイント。飲み物を冷やしておけるので、夏場は特に快適でした。 お風呂の雰囲気は「木に囲まれた露天」で、湯気が立つ感じがとても写真映えします。岩風呂っぽいワイルドさを期待して行くと、ゴツゴツした岩の洞窟風というよりは、自然と木の温もりを楽しむタイプ。とはいえ外気を感じながら入れるので、ちゃんと“露天感”はあります。 女性目線で気になりやすいのが「見えない？丸見え？」問題。結論、私は不安になる感じは少なかったです。ただし露天なのでゼロではないし、季節で木の茂り方も変わると思います。心配な人は、当日スタッフさんに「外からの視線が気になりにくい浴槽はどれですか？」って聞くのが安心。 「布団あるの？」と気になる人もいるけど、ここは日帰り利用が中心で“泊まって休む”というより、休憩スペースでくつろぐイメージ。長居したいなら、足湯やラウンジも活用すると満足度が上がります。大きな窓のラウンジは明るくて、湯上がりにだらだらするのにぴったりでした。 最後に冬の注意点。内湯がないので、湯上がりの移動で冷えやすいです。タオル多め＋羽織れる上着があると安心。鬼怒川温泉で貸切露天風呂を探しているなら、「離れの湯 あけび」は静かに過ごしたい日にかなりアリでした。
