「毘沙門沼 ボート」で迷いがちなのが、実際どのくらい時間があれば満喫できるか・混みやすいタイミング・どこから乗るのが正解か…という点。私は現地で見てから「思ったより気軽！」と感じたので、初めて行く人向けに補足します。 まずボート乗り場は毘沙門沼の湖畔にあり、桟橋にボートが並んでいるので迷いにくいです。ハートマークが描かれたボートが並ぶ光景はそれだけで可愛くて、乗らなくても写真を撮りたくなりました。エメラルドグリーンの湖面×紅葉（色づき始めでも十分きれい）×青空の組み合わせは、まさに「今だけの期間限定アート」という感じ。 料金は30分と60分のプランがあるので、体力と天候で選ぶのがおすすめ。私の体感だと、写真を撮りつつ湖上の景色をしっかり楽しむなら60分が安心。サクッと「ボートに乗った！」体験だけなら30分でも満足できます。日差しが強い日は水面の反射がまぶしいので、帽子やサングラスがあると快適でした。 紅葉シーズンは人気が上がるので、できれば午前中など早めの時間帯を狙うと待ち時間が少なめ。夕方は夕日が水面に反射してドラマチックですが、気温が下がりやすいので羽織ものがあると安心です。 そして噂の「ハートマークの鯉」。ボート乗り場付近に現れやすいそうなので、乗る前後に水面をじっくり観察してみてください。白い鯉でお腹に赤いハートがあるらしく、見つけられたらかなりラッキー。 最後に、五色沼散策とセットにするなら熊ベルは持っておくと安心。探勝路を歩く計画の場合は、駐車場とバスを組み合わせると移動がラクでした。毘沙門沼のボートは「絶景を一番近くで味わえる」体験なので、天気のいい日にぜひ組み込んでみてください。
