🌸 What is Tamagawa Sengen Shrine?
2 minutes walk from Tamagawa Station on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Meguro Line.
Tamagawa Sengen Shrine is located on a small mountain (tumulus).
1. God of easy delivery and matchmaking related to Masako Hojo
It was founded in the Kamakura period.
It is said that Masako Hojo, the wife of Minamoto no Yoritomo, purified herself by looking at Mt. Fuji from this place to pray for her husband's good luck.
The enshrined deity is Konohanasakuya-hime no Mikoto, who is an immortal beauty and a high honor.
As a guardian deity of women, it is known for the benefits of "family harmony," "easy delivery" and "Koyasu."

多摩川浅間神社は、静かな多摩川のほとりにあることから、訪れるたびに心が落ち着く特別な場所だと感じます。実際に参拝した際には、お賽銭箱のハートモチーフにも癒やされ、日々の疲れを和らげてくれました。 社殿は鮮やかな朱色で古墳の小山の上に鎮座しているため、少し急な階段はありますが、その分登りきったときの達成感とともに見渡せる風景は格別です。特に社務所屋上の展望スペースから見る多摩川の流れや週末の東横線の鉄橋を行き交う電車は、鉄道ファンでなくても自然と休日のひとときを満喫できました。 私は夕暮れ時に訪れ、富士山のシルエットが夕日に照らされ、川面に映る光景は息を呑む美しさで、まさに都会のオアシスとしての魅力を実感しました。さらに、境内にある「子産石（予宝石）」は安産祈願の象徴で、多くの女性が穏やかな願いを込めて触れている姿が印象的でした。 近年話題の映画『シン・ゴジラ』のロケ地でもあり、ゴジラファンが多く訪れるため、神社のお守りにはゴジラとコラボした限定品もあり、アニメ好きや歴史好き、絶景好きと幅広い層が楽しめる点も魅力的です。 さらに、月ごとにデザインが変わる御朱印は、その美しさに加え季節感を感じられる素敵なアートで、毎月訪れる楽しみになりました。富士山や多摩川の自然、そして木花咲耶姫命を祀るこの神社は『安産・縁結び』の願いも叶えてくれるパワースポットとして、多くの人におすすめしたい場所です。休日の散歩コースとして、ぜひ一度訪れてみてはいかがでしょう か。
