西伊豆の堂ヶ島にある『青の洞窟』は、その美しい青色の海と神秘的な洞窟風景で多くの観光客を惹きつけています。私自身、運航が天候の影響を受けやすいため、実際にクルージングに乗るのは簡単ではありませんでした。特に冬の時期は海が荒れやすく欠航率も高いため、訪れる際には天気予報や公式の運航情報をこまめに確認することを強くお勧めします。 クルージングの魅力は、時間帯や季節、さらにはその日の気温によっても変わる海の色。日差しの具合で澄んだ青色や緑色が映し出され、まるで絵画のような景観を楽しめるのが特徴です。私が3回目の挑戦で乗船できた日は、まさに絶景日和で、青の洞窟の中を静かに進むボートから見える景色は息を呑む美しさでした。 また、クルージングに乗らなくても、洞窟の天窓から見える海の青さは陸上の遊歩道からも堪能可能です。ゆったり散策しながら撮影スポットを巡るのも楽しい体験です。 アクセスも便利で、伊豆急下田駅からバスで1時間弱。車で訪れる場合も駐車場が整備されているため安心です。大人料金は1500円で、10時から16時まで運航しています。 初めて訪れる方は、運航のタイミングや天候に左右されることを念頭に置きつつも、青の洞窟の幻想的な世界にぜひ足を運んでみてください。何度でも訪れたくなる魅力が詰まっていますよ！
