GOD is in Control

Do what YOU can do, to the best of your ability, and trust GOD to do the rest.

... Read moreLife often teaches us the importance of balancing effort with faith. From personal experience, I've found that when we focus on what we can control—our actions, attitudes, and intentions—and sincerely trust God to handle the outcomes, peace and progress follow naturally. The verse from I Corinthians 3:7, "We can plant the seeds & water it, but only God can make it grow," beautifully illustrates this principle. It reminds me of gardening as a metaphor: we prepare the soil and plant seeds with care, yet the growth depends on factors like rain and sunlight, which we cannot command. Similarly, in life ventures such as pursuing a career goal, building relationships, or healing from hardship, our responsibility is to invest effort and maintain faith. On several occasions, I’ve pushed myself to give my best at work or in creative projects. Sometimes, despite dedication, results were slow or unclear. Instead of frustration, reflecting on this scripture helped me release control and trust that a higher power was guiding the process. This shift reduced anxiety and opened doors to unexpected opportunities. Embracing this outlook cultivates patience and resilience. It encourages doing your part diligently without being overwhelmed by results. Trusting in God's control doesn't imply passivity but an active faith that complements our efforts. This mindset can transform personal challenges into growth experiences, fostering hope and perseverance. Overall, the balance of doing all you can and trusting God to do the rest is a powerful approach to life’s uncertainties. It encourages us to commit fully to our goals while nurturing spiritual surrender, which often leads to richer, more fulfilling outcomes than could be achieved alone.
