Through personal experience, I’ve found that leaning into faith and embracing vulnerability can be incredibly healing. One of the most freeing realizations is that we don’t have to carry our burdens alone. As the saying goes, "God doesn’t just change situations; He changes the way we carry them." This shift in mindset helped me immensely in managing stress and anxiety. Prayer and quiet reflection became essential parts of my routine. The act of praying more and speaking less allows mental clutter to clear, and anxiety to diminish. When I gave my troubles over to a higher power, I noticed an immediate release of tension—it was like acknowledging that some things are beyond my control. This isn’t about passivity, but about finding peace in surrender. Life became easier because I stopped overburdening myself unnecessarily. Additionally, embracing vulnerability has allowed me to connect more deeply with others and myself. Vulnerability doesn’t mean weakness; rather, it’s a courageous acceptance of our authentic feelings. This openness invites growth and genuine support from the people around us. It also encourages us to be kinder to ourselves during difficult times. Incorporating these approaches doesn’t magically solve all problems overnight, but it eases the weight of carrying them alone. By shifting focus from what we cannot control to what we can—our attitude, our openness, our trust—we gradually step out of the funk. These words of wisdom serve as a gentle reminder that healing and peace are available when we allow ourselves to be open and rely on faith.
