🚊 Okay, this is coming from someone who always takes the subway. If you’re visiting or live here, it’s a good way to get around without having to fight traffic. I avoid taking Metro in the evenings, as I’ve seen more riff-raff. And as far as sketchy people, they ride at all times of day! ðŸ‘Ū🏞‍

1. fushimi inari - highly recommend arriving before 8am to beat the crowd. there is a “secret” bamboo forest. to find it, walk past the main gate shrine, and continue up until you arrive to the start of the tunnel of torii gates. instead of walking through the gates, walk outside of them to the rig
