I particularly enjoyed relaxing in the beachy area with lounge chairs and umbrellas. They even have bikes and buggies that you can rent to explore the nearby Long Beach beach CA or other local attractions, adding an extra layer of fun to your pre-cruise stay. The pool here is absolutely stunning, with those unique cabanas surrounded by water – definitely worth considering if you want to treat yourself to some extra poolside luxury. We also made sure to try their on-site restaurant, Fuego. While the service was fair and the food was only okay, the cocktails were definitely a hit! We enjoyed a Paloma and a Fuego Classic Margarita. For dinner, while Fuego was convenient, Long Beach has a vibrant dining scene, so you might want to venture out and explore other nearby places to eat to experience the local flavors. Regardless, having an on-site option was a nice perk. Overall, our stay and park experience at Hotel Maya was a fantastic start to our Long Beach cruise.
