Day 1 (Evening): The most adorned lights at Kumamoto Castle 🏮🏯
After the check-in at the property, in the evening we came out to experience the greatness of Kumamoto Castle Inari Shrine and Kumamoto Castle. Let's say that the evening is much more beautiful and magical than the day!
📍 Check-in Points:
• Kumamoto Castle Inari Shrine: The fox shrine next to the castle. 🦊🏮 Let's make a wish for success. The gimmick that can't be missed is the wooden plate of the wish (Ema), the cute fox face (cover image), written and hung is Jung!
• Kumamoto Castle Night Illumination: Walk through the light-up castle against the dark sky. He turns on the lights from the entrance. The entrance fee is 800 yen. It's worth it!
• Mizuakari Festival (Bamboo and Lantern Festival): Very lucky to coincide with October 11th! This is the Bamboo Lantern Festival that adorns over 50,000 lanterns around the castle and Tsuboi River. Super romantic and warm atmosphere. Photo line must not be missed! 🏮✨
• Sakuranobaba Johsaien: Stop by to find something to eat at the Edo-era model village. Organize 1 crunchy matcha ice cream! Delicious until wanting to repeat!! 🍦
• Sakaedori: End the night with a stroll through the shopping street, see the light, color, sound, chill.
• Youme supermarket: Eat outside often. Let's try some food in the Supermarket. When you have a kitchen, make your own ingredients. Save and have fun! 🍳
🚅 Travel:
• In Kumamoto: It is very convenient to use a tram (Kumamoto City Tram)!
• Pass: Buy a Tram 1 Day Pass for 600 yen (can be purchased on the tram or through the app). Take as many rides throughout the day. Great value for the trip line. Don't care for anyone!
• How to get on the tram: Get up the middle door (or back door) and go down the front door to pay or show the driver the Pass.
⚠️:
• Anyone who buys a ticket through the app must always be connected to the internet and must be ready to show the driver immediately, but sometimes the internet pushes when going down, playing almost the event!
• Anyone who is not confident in the internet themselves recommends buying a paper ticket on the tram is the most safe, but the paper price is secretly more expensive than buying in the app. Choose a convenient and comfortable place. 🤔
💡 My Tipes:
• Festival Alert: Mizuakari Festival usually starts on the lights during 18: 00 hrs. It is recommended to watch the lanterns floating in the river. It is really beautiful.
• Vibe: It's an evening when Kumamoto seems particularly bustling with lights and people, but still safe. Take a long walk.
