Make a Latte With Me
Cold mornings call for warm latte. I love the Starbucks sugar free vanilla syrup so I add 4 pumps of syrup along with 2 shots of expresso and of course I temp the milk to create a frothy but smooth consistency. Yum. Are you hot or iced coffee lover? I’m more iced coffee except when it’s cold or I am sick then it’s hot all the way!! #lemon8challenge #lemon8badgehunt #coffee #ninjaluxecafé #STARBUCKS
Making a latte at home can be a rewarding experience, especially when you tailor it to your taste preferences. I’ve found that using a sugar-free vanilla syrup is a great way to keep the sweetness without the extra calories, and Starbucks’ brand works beautifully for this. When preparing the espresso, pulling two fresh shots ensures a rich, intense coffee flavor that balances the vanilla perfectly. An essential step that often gets overlooked is tempering the milk. Steaming milk to the right temperature and texture creates that signature frothy yet smooth consistency which truly elevates the latte experience. For best results, aim for about 140-150°F and use a steaming wand or milk frother if you don’t have an espresso machine. I enjoy my latte either hot or iced depending on the season or how I’m feeling. Hot lattes are perfect on chilly mornings or when you're feeling under the weather, offering warmth and comfort. Iced lattes, on the other hand, are refreshing and energizing, especially during warmer days. You can even customize your iced latte with extra pumps of syrup to make it just right. If you want to experiment even more, try different flavors of sugar-free syrups or alternative milk options like almond, oat, or soy to suit dietary needs or flavor preferences. Making your own latte at home not only saves money compared to frequent café visits but also allows you the creative freedom to enjoy your coffee just the way you like it.
