I’m headed to Tribeca! 🥹

I can’t believe I finally get to share this 🤍

A documentary I’m in following the TikTok Supreme Court case has officially been selected for the Tribeca Film Festival this June.

This film follows three creators, including me, and tells the story of how we built our lives and communities on TikTok… and what it felt like when that was suddenly at risk. It captures one of the most uncertain and emotional seasons of my life - something that felt scary and deeply personal at the time, and is now something I’m ready to share with all of you.

TikTok has given me more than a platform. It gave me purpose, connection, and a community that changed my life forever.

To have that story told on a stage like this… I don’t even have the words.

I’ll be in New York this June for Tribeca, and I am just so incredibly humbled and grateful to be part of something this meaningful.

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for being part of the story 🤍 @tribeca

... Read moreBeing part of the documentary 'TikTok Never Dies' has profoundly impacted my perspective on the power of community and digital platforms in shaping lives. This film, which premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival from June 3-14, 2026, captures not only the legal battle that threatened our presence on TikTok but also the deeply personal journey of resilience and connection. What struck me most during filming was the raw emotion shared among the three creators featured in the documentary. We had all built meaningful lives and supportive communities on TikTok, and the prospect of losing that back in the face of the nationwide ban was heartbreaking. Yet, this challenge also showcased the strength and solidarity that digital communities can foster. Directed by Hao Wu and produced alongside Violet Feng and Jamie Chen, the documentary blends personal stories with broader industry insights, making it more than just a courtroom drama. It’s a testament to how technology and social platforms influence identity and creativity. The intimate cinematography and evocative score by Chad Cannon further immerse viewers into our world. For anyone interested in the intersection of technology, law, and social media culture, this film offers an eye-opening look at the consequences of regulatory actions on individual creators and their communities. It’s a reminder that behind every platform are real people whose lives and livelihoods are intertwined with the digital spaces they inhabit. Attending the Tribeca Film Festival in New York this June is not only a milestone for me but also a chance to celebrate the resilience of creators worldwide. I hope this documentary inspires dialogue around user rights, content creation, and the evolving landscape of social media. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to have your platform—your voice—on the line, this film tells that story with honesty and heart.
