My 2025 Reading Goals

It’s the season for setting new goals and working on ourselves!

Being in grad school limits my ability to truly read for fun, but I want to make it my biggest goal this next year to read 20 books (that are not textbooks). I know it isn’t a lot, but we all start somewhere right?!

2025 Reading Goals

-Read 20 books

-Try a new genre

-Read a new authors work

-Reorganize my reading library

-Rate all my books read in 2025

Aiming to read 20 books is a fantastic way to keep your mind engaged and knowledge enriched. Diversifying your reading habits by trying new genres can open your horizons to different perspectives and styles, enriching your understanding of literature. Exploring works from new authors not only nudges you out of your comfort zone but also supports emerging writers. As you curate your reading list, consider joining books clubs or online forums to exchange recommendations and insights with fellow readers. You could also track your progress through reading challenges available on various platforms. Reorganizing your reading library can refresh your environment and make your collection more accessible, inspiring you to pick up a book more frequently. A practical tip is to create a rating system for your reads, allowing you to reflect on what you've enjoyed and why. Sharing your experiences with others, especially on platforms like Lemon8, can motivate you and your peers to stay committed to your goals. So, as you embark on this reading journey, remember that every reader starts somewhere. What's essential is the commitment to read more, discover new stories, and keep the love for reading alive in 2025!
