DAY IN MY LIFE

In today's fast-paced academic environment, balancing studies and extracurricular activities can be challenging. As a pre-med student at USC, time management is essential. My day typically starts with attending classes where I learn about topics such as imine formation and hydrolysis. Engaging with peers during lectures makes the experience enjoyable and enriching. After classes, I transition to song girl practice—a space where I hone my skills and bond with teammates. With practice sessions, we not only learn choreography but also foster teamwork and leadership skills. Afternoons are crucial for me to recharge, often fueled by a quick lunch. I opt for wholesome meals that provide energy for coursework and physical activity. Some days, I even squeeze in a visit to the lab, applying my classroom knowledge to practical scenarios. With assignments that include everything from chemistry synthesis to lab protocol understanding, balancing these responsibilities requires dedication. As my day winds down, I often find myself enjoying late-night tacos with friends, a ritual that strengthens my college connections while allowing for well-deserved relaxation. Sharing experiences and challenges with fellow students who understand the pressures of pre-med life is invaluable. Overall, my journey as a USC Song Girl captain and pre-med student is filled with learning, friendship, and unforgettable moments.
